Start of Winter In ancient times, the Chinese people took the Start of Winter to be the beginning of the winter. However, in fact, the Start of Winter is not the beginning of winter in terms of meteorology. The climate every year is different, so the beginning of winter could be quite different. And with the vast territory of China, winter of every area doesn’t begin at the same time.   There are different customs in different parts of China on this day.   Today there is still a saying that goes “Eat dumplings on Start of Winter Day, or your ears will be frostbitten”.   On the first day of Start of Winter, there is a custom, "nourishing the winter", in Southeast China in places such as Fujian, Guangdong and Taiwan provinces. To prepare for the oncoming cold winter, people there like to eat high-calorie food.   In Tianjin, on the first day of Start of Winter, people eat dumplings stuffed with Chinese pumpkins (wogua).   On the first day of Start of Winter, people in Wuxi have a custom of eating tuanzi, a kind of traditional Chinese food made with rice.   JADEVER has a warm atmosphere in the gradually cold weather. 2022 Halloween All Saints’ Day, on November 1 of each year, is a traditional Western holiday. Halloween, the night before All Saints’ Day, October 31, is the most lively moment of this holiday. To celebrate the advent of Halloween, children will dress up as a variety of cute ghosts and goblins to knock on doors from house to house, asking for candy or they will trick-or-treat. Children will wear all kinds of costumes and masks to participate in Halloween dances with a playful mentality. The walls around these dances are often hung with paper pasted witches, black cats, and pumpkin lanterns. The most popular game on Halloween is “Bite Apple”. During the game, people let the apples float in a basin full of water, and then let the children bite the apples with their mouths without using their hands. Frost’s Descent   October 23, 2022 was Frost’s Descent. Frost’s Descent is the eighteenth of the 24 traditional Chinese solar terms and the last solar term of autumn, during which time the weather becomes much colder than before and frost begins to appear. But in the lower reaches of the Yellow River region, frost first appears in late October or early November. As Frost’s Descent comes, the world is filled with the atmosphere of late autumn. People attach great importance to Frost’s Descent. During Frost’s Descent, there are also customs in various places to dispel evil spirits, sweep the tomb, etc., in order to pray for favorable weather, and a happy and healthy life. JADEVER Regular Meeting in October Yesterday, Jadever held a regular meeting on the production line. This regular meeting enhances the communication and management within the company and improve the perception of the team. National Day Holiday Notice National Day is celebrated on October 1st every year. The celebration commemorates the founding of the People’s Republic of China. The National Flag-raising ceremony is held at Tian’anmen Square. The five-starred red flag is waving in the wind. During the holiday, our leaders will present flowers to the Monument to the People's Heroes. Security is quite tight on National Day. The Chinese people have 7-day off from work. Many people will go to attraction sites in this golden week. All cities and scenic spots are packed. Jadever celebrates for our nation and hope this National Day Holiday will bring everyone happiness and hope.

Autumn Equinox On the Chinese lunar calendar, “Autumn Equinox” is the beginning of Autumn and this day is just at the middle point between “Autumn Begins” to “Hoar-Frost Falls”. It arrives on September 23 this year when the sun reaches the celestial longitude of 180 degrees. Since the Autumn Equinox, most of the areas in China have entered the cool autumn. When the cold air southward meets the declining warm and wet air, precipitation is the result. The temperature also drops frequently. Jadever reminds all stuff and customers to keep warm and not to get cold.

Notice of Mid-Autumn Festival Holiday Please kindly be informed that our company JADEVER has three days off for the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday from September 10th to 12th according to the national holiday regulations. Mid-Autumn Festival is celebrated on the 15th day of the 8th month of the lunar calendar. It is a time for family members and loved ones to congregate and enjoy the full moon and mooncakes——an auspicious symbol of abundance, harmony and luck. For people in Xiamen, their exciting games have just started. A special custom “Moon-cake Gambling" will take place in every Mid-autumn Festival. Gambling? Right, but it is definitely legal. Because the stakes among the locals are mooncakes and that is how this unique celebrating activity has got its Chinese name “Bo Bing”. It is played only around the Mid-Autumn Festival. All the "Bo Bing" game requires are six dices and a bowl. Just throw the dice into the bowl and roll a different number of points.
